Cirque du Soleil: LUZIA Brisbane

LUZIA, light and water, is a unique tale that takes audiences from an old movie set to the ocean to a desert to a jungle, and beyond. Like fading into a dream, the show draws you in from an urban setting and gently guides you through the ages, from past and present to future, from reality into the unknown. Cirque du Soleil’s latest offering is a testament to the company’s ability to continue to reinvent itself. While its previous season saw its artists perform on ice, this season takes on water, the element of healing, rebirth, inspiration, dreams, and more. This season, under the Big Top in Brisbane, watch the company’s Cyr wheel artists twirl and spin under the rain as they show you the beauty and spirit of the Mexican people.

Car: Public parking is just off Curtin Avenue East, within walking distance from the main entrance. The ride-share drop-off point is just off Curtin Avenue East and Fison Avenue West.

Train: The nearest train stations are Murarrie Station, 59 min walk and Doomben Station,
60 min walk.

Bus: The nearest bus station is Kingsford Smith Drive, Stop 38, and Kingsford Smith Dr at French St, Stop 40. The closest one is a 14-minute walk away.

Outside Food: Outside food and drink are generally not permitted at the venue. The Royal Queensland Golf Club has in-house dining facilities, however, some areas are strictly members-only. There are, alternatively, restaurants and cafés outside the grounds.
