Value for money seats

Stalls (O-W): The Rear Stalls have some of the most affordable seats in the house, particularly in the last Row W and the sides of Row V. These seats won't give you an immersive experience, but you'll certainly get bang for your buck.
Balcony 1 (E-R): This level is great for affordable seats with decent views. Rows P-R and the side seats of Rows E-O offer the cheapest rates, albeit with some sightline restrictions. Center seats in Row M are also decently priced with a head-on view of the stage.
Balcony 2 (A-R): Most seats in this section go for cheaper because of the distance from the stage. That said, you'll find seats on the sides are more affordable than ones in the middle, particularly toward the front, due to an angled view.

Best views of the stage

Stalls (A-B): The first few rows, DD-AA, are closest to the stage and can offer a truly premium and immersive experience, but the rows just behind them (A-B) allow you to have a similar experience while also seeing the entire stage so you don't miss anything.
Balcony 1 (K-L): Since this section is curved in the shape of a horseshoe, side seats aren't the best for clear views of the stage. The center seats, particularly in Rows K-L, have minimal sightline obstructions and are a great choice.
Balcony 2 (J-L): Much like Balcony 1, this level is also curved, but at a greater distance from the stage its angled side seats make it quite difficult to watch some shows. Opt for center seats in the middle of Rows J-L.

Stalls

Rows: DD-W

The Stalls is a level section on Level 2 of the Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC). It is the closest to the stage and offers an immersive experience.
The section is divided into Front and Rear subsections.
The front four rows (DD-AA) are extremely immersive, though the nearness to the front of the stage might have you craning your neck on occasion. You might also not be able to see the entire stage at all times.
Seats in Rows A-B are some of the best in the house as they are close enough to see the actors' facial expressions while also ensuring you can see the action across the stage. Center seats offer the best views.
Seats up to Row N of the Front Stalls maintain some level of immersion though the view gets less comprehensive the further back you go.
The Rear Stalls (O-W) do not offer the same level of immersion but are far more affordable.

Balcony 1

Rows A-R

The first Balcony at this theater offers the perfect vantage point from which to see the entire stage. This section is a good balance between affordable tickets and decent views.
Shaped like a horseshoe and raked for better viewing, this section is elevated behind the Stalls and wraps around it, with the side seats quite close to the stage.
Seats closer to the middle have better views, with the middle of rows K-L offering the best views from this section.
Rear and side seats are more affordable, with seats between Rows N-R being some of the cheapest in this theater.

Balcony 2

Rows A-R

The second Balcony is quite similar to the first but sits higher and slightly further back in the auditorium.
This section is also raked and curves forward with the side seats closer to the stage.
The distance from the stage makes this section less popular. However, it can be the perfect spot if you're watching a larger ensemble cast or a production that utilizes the whole stage such as a musical.
Rows A-D and the rear rows offer some of the cheapest seats in the section. The middle of row J is the best choice if you're also looking for unobstructed views of the entire stage.
If you happen to select seats in the rear, particularly beyond Row J, you might find it helpful to bring along a pair of binoculars so you can catch all parts of the performance.
